Heather Miller

Welcome to the 405 to France, a play on my adopted hometown area code. My name is Heather Miller. I am a history professor living in Oklahoma City. I love food, books, history, and travel. The idea for the 405 was born out of my love for all of these things, and a desire to focus on experiences over “stuff”. With my nest soon to be empty, I have given a lot of thought to what I want to do as my children pursue their own lives, and the obvious answer for me was travel!

After several trips to France and many semesters of teaching European history, I conceived the idea to take others with me to experience the architecture, food, art, and culture in this old magnificent country that has been a passion of mine for a long time.
